From informative events to film screenings, the next event will stop at Cine Studio in Nicosia on November 6 for a screening of the drama Stefan Zweig: Farewell to Europe at 9pm with Greek subtitles. The film traces Stefan Zweig, an author who leaves Austria in 1936 for South America in order to escape the spectre of Nazism.
The film will be repeated on November 20 at Theatro Skala in Larnaca at 8.30pm, and on November 28 at Technopolis 21 Cultural Centre in Paphos at 7.30pm.
The film screenings will continue in Paphos on November 7 at Technopolis 20 Cultural Centre at 7.30pm with the film My Name is Victoria. The story is told in a single, uninterrupted take and concentrates on a young Spanish woman who recently moved to Berlin to find out that her flirtation with a local man turns potentially deadly, as the night out with his friends reveals a dangerous secret. This free screening will have Greek subtitles.
